20-foot High Cube Ex-Reefer Container
The 20-foot High Cube ex-reefer is a former refrigerated container from which the refrigeration unit has been removed. What remains is the fully insulated body: thanks to its insulated walls, floor, and ceiling, the container maintains a stable interior temperature and offers protection against heat, cold, and moisture. The High Cube design provides extra height and, therefore, more usable volume. The interior, typically made of stainless steel or aluminum, is hygienic and easy to clean, making it ideal for storing food, beverages, and temperature-sensitive goods.
Unlike an active reefer, this container does not cool, but rather insulates. This makes it ideal for stationary on-site storage, without the need to maintain the temperature of a refrigeration unit.
Available in new (A-grade) and used (B-grade) versions. Since there is no cooling unit, a PTI test, 380V connection, or generator set is not required. The container is ready for immediate use at virtually any location, without the need for a power supply.
